I should note that only Lincoln and Omaha have smoking bans in place. Omaha’s, however, has a 5-year sunset clause(expiring in 2011) allowing bars not serving food and keno parlors to allow smoking, and just applies to restaurants and workplaces as of now. Lincoln has had a full smoking ban in place for a few years now. Lexington voters voted down a proposed ban earlier this month.
